Sculpture by Augustus Saint Gaudens
Saint Gaudens National Historical Site Cornish NH
My photograph of General Sherman's bust at the Saint Gaudens National Historical Site; I hope to emphasize the dark persona that this sculpture portrays. The bust itself is shaded from any direct light in the gallery and the shadows that fall on it make Saint Gaudens' piece look like it could speak to you. The voice I could hear was dark, raspy and gruff the voice of man that had been through hell and returned.
