Published work

For those of you who have viewed my blog in the past, you have seen this piece before, it's Nancy's bead embroidered necklace Dryad.  This piece was selected as a finalist for the 2010 Bead and Button Bead Dreams competition, and while it did not place in the "winners circle" it was quite an honor for us to see it get so far.  After Dryad returned from the show it            spent some time in the Sharon Arts Center as part of Nancy's featured artist exhibit, and returned later in the year as part of the Members' Artists show.  It was also on display for a couple of months in Keene New Hampshire at New England Beads.  Life has been a lot quieter for Dryad this past year, with one exception;  she came out of her private storage container to be photographed for a book.  That book, Beaded Fantasies by Sabine Lippert, was recently published and our copy arrived this afternoon.  Dryad was joined by Nancy's Regal bracelet and earring combination, and both can be found on page 136 of the book. Needless to say I am exceedingly proud on Nancy and her work.

Oh yes Nancy would be upset with me for not mentioning the photo credit I received.
