My iPhone 6 Project: Bones of the barn

Sunderland, MA

The first real snow storm of 2016, October 27 was on the road that day and captured this image at an old stripped Tobacco Barn.  There use to be hundreds of these barns all over the Connecticut River Valley, they are becoming more and more rare as time goes on.  I'm glad to have obtained this image before it is gone.

My iPhone 6 Project: Winter Lake

Lee, Massachusetts

Today's travels brought me to South Western Massachusetts, in the Berkshires to this small lake along Route 20.  As you can see it was right at dusk.

Along the Road: In the Rain

I like taking black and white photographs, while color gives you a "real life" perspective, there is nothing quite like the power this scene represents when displayed in this format.

The color image of this same photograph is below so that you can see what I mean.

Along the Road: Clift in the Rain

28 August 2011 will be known as the day that
Hurricane Irene passed through Vermont leaving
in her wake considerable destruction.
This is what I was able to capture about today.
